Election Year

The message of this game is the importance of voting, as well as taking further action. Every year the world slides ever closer to a bad fate, either from Global Warming, another World War, or economic ruin. The speed at which this fate approaches is in our hands however. The positions held by The Republican Party are monstrous, and will greatly accelerate things. I tried to communicate this in the game by making it so voting for the Republican stand-in skips forward in the game’s timeline. The Democratic Party is not great in my opinion, but they are a lot better than The Republican Party. Voting for them buys us time to push for better positions from our politicians.
